Woody's Family Cup, our Annual Golf Tournament, Benefits Beads of Courage and Cancer Care Services Fort Worth. 20 years of tournaments have only been possible with the support of all of the volunteers, golfers, and all of the companies that donate raffle and auction items.
Our annual toy and bike drive supplies charities around Fort Worth with toys, bikes and Christmas smiles! We purchase the bikes at a discounted price from Academy as well as being tax exempt since WFC is a 501c3 charity. There are opportunities to help on the days we pick up the bikes, build the bikes as well as deliver the bikes to our charities. We work with Santas Helpers and Channel 8 and well vetted charities in Fort Worth. ACH services toys and bikes go to kids in the Foster Program, Northside Inter-Community Agency NICA work year around to help kids and families in North Fort Worth, Como Lions Heart is right down Bryant Irvin from us, and Crowley House of Hope to our South. 100% of your donation goes directly to Fort Worth Kids!
The Woody's Family always comes together for our Charities! Our Bike and Toy Drive was started by one of our regulars Mark 19 years ago. Each year we try to make kids happy in his honor. Last year our regulars donated, then helped pick up, build, and deliver 300 bikes plus tons of toys! NICA Northside Inter-Community Agency and Como Lionhearts, both local charities received the bikes and toys. This year we added ACH Services and Crowley House of Hope to our Toy and bike Drive charities! We look forward to growing this event each year! Our 3rd annual skeet shoot in remembrance of one the greats Mike Barry in August benefits Epilepsy Foundation. Dave Cullen @ 817) 602-7980
